Oksana E. Fishel, OD

Dr. Fishel was awarded her Doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Prior to Optometry School, Dr. Fishel received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She completed her optometric externship training at Memorial Hermann Eye Center, Bellaire Eye Consultants, and Whitsett Vision Group of Houston.

During her extensive training Dr. Fishel focused on diagnosis and treatment of anterior segment disease and glaucoma. Throughout her preparatory years, she showed great interest and aptitude in the diagnosis of retinal disease such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Furthermore, Dr. Fishel was an active part of pre and post-operative treatment of cataract and refractive surgery.

Dr. Fishel is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist. She practices full scope primary care optometry with emphasis in ocular pathology. Her passion for optometry transcends into individualized care for each patient.

Outside of her career, Dr. Fishel enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, reading and Yoga.
